This was my first house-hack deal. I found this property on Zillow the first day it was posted and made a full cash offer on the spot as I saw the equity in the house if updates were made. I then lived in one room on a cot and fixed the house room by room. Eventually, my brothers and I were able to put in new kitchen and bathroom tile floors, new carpet, new paint, new roof, updated electric, hot water tank, re-finished hard-wood floors, and updated the back deck. I lived in the house for two years and sold it when the market was high.
