WHO WE ARE….

We are four brothers (Josh, Joel, Isaac, and AJ) that have partnered together to invest our time and resources into our hometown, Youngstown, Ohio. Our goal is to transform our city by providing quality, affordable real estate opportunities in the greater Youngstown area. Over 5 years we’ve accumulated over 10 cash flowing rental properties, completed over 20 fix and flip rehab projects, and sold numerous properties here in the Mahoning Valley. We specialize in the purchase, renovation, and sale of single-family properties with the focus on cash flowing rental properties or rent-to-own contracts as we self-manage our portfolio.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR…

Feel free to contact us as we are always open for new long term partnerships (investors, realtors, wholesalers, landlords, bankers etc.) in future apartment complex opportunities as well as short term partners in single family fix and flip projects. This is key to our business as we scale our company vertically into commercial real estate and horizontally as we continue to expand in the residential space. We are also looking into markets outside of Ohio to gain exposure to appreciating real estate such as vacation rentals or commercial apartments located in fast growing markets that we otherwise cannot find in Ohio.

Joel R. Melnick - Managing Partner

Joel is the managing partner of Heartland Property Group (HPG) founded in 2016.  He has over 5 years of real estate experience specializing in acquisitions, construction operations, and property management of single-family homes.  Joel enjoys traveling, playing sports, volunteering, target shooting, and spending time with family. He is an Afghanistan Veteran.

Isaac J. Melnick - Partner

Isaac is a partner in Heartland Property Group.  He possesses over 5 years of real estate experience with concentrations in accounting, HVAC, carpentry, and project management.  Isaac enjoys volunteering, reading, traveling, distance running, playing cards, and spending time with his son Russell.  He is an Afghanistan Veteran.

Joshua R. Melnick - Partner

Josh is a partner in Heartland Property Group.  Josh has several years of real estate experience analyzing markets, digital marketing, wholesaling, and forecasting the vision of HPG.  Josh enjoys 3D printing, working out, reading, cooking, flying his drone, and learning new skills.

Abraham J. Melnick - Manager

Abe is a construction manager in HPG and partner in a separate LLC with his brothers.  He has several years of construction experience in flipping homes and wholesaling properties.  Abe enjoys volunteering, reading, target shooting, fly fishing, disc golf, and spending time with family.

Kelly Fookes - Property Manager

Kelly is the property manager of Heartland Property Group he has over 30 years of construction experience specializing in plumbing and carpentry.  Kelly enjoys cooking, antiquing, and spending time with family.
